Evi Lardi

Evi Lardi is, since 2021, a policy officer at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in the Unit for Blue Economy Sectors, Aquaculture and Maritime Spatial Planning. She is working on the aquaculture sector and dealing with its development in several Member States, climate change and energy transition matters.  

She has joined the European Commission in 2007 at the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) dealing with logistics, maritime transport and ports.

Prior, she has worked at the Cyprus Government in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works dealing with VAT taxation, budgeting, staffing and with infrastructure works, road transport, interservice and international organisations’ matters.

She has also worked in the private sector on marketing planning and market research for products and services in international markets and in the tourism sector on marketing strategy.

She has studied in the United States and holds an undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s) in Economics and Business Administration and a graduate degree (Master’s) in Business Administration with specialisation in international business and marketing.
