Dr Cabaleiro is PhD, MSc In Chemistry and Director of CETGA, the main private research centre for aquaculture in Spain. Since 2017 he has also been Board Director of the EATIP (European Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Platform). He has more than 20 years of experience in aquaculture, developing fish health products, publishing more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific papers, and working on more than 60 research products.
