Born in Larissa on 10-01-1972, married, with one son, he graduated from the Law School of the A.U.TH. He is an active trial Supreme Court Lawyer in the Court of First Instance of Larissa. From 2005 to 2015 he was actively involved in the consumer’s movement as elected president of the IN.KA (Consumer’s Institute) of Thessaly. He served as a member of the BoD of the E.F.E.T. (Hellenic Food Authority), and Vice-president on the National Council of Consumer and Market (ESKA). In the years 2008 and 2009 he participated in the Standing Committee on Production and Trade of the Hellenic Parliament as a representative of the consumers’ organisations for the laws referring to the consumer.
In the elections of January 2015 he was elected with the movement of Independent Greeks (ANEL) member of the parliament for the prefecture of Larissa and was re-elected member of the parliament with the AEL in the elections of September 2015. He served as Undersecretary of Agricultural Development and Food from November 2016 to July 2019. On the elections of 2019, until today he has been elected member of the Parliament of the R.U. of Larissa with the party of Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) – Progressive Alliance and he is the Head of the Department of Rural Development and Food.
