Abstract Submission Guidelines

Paper evaluations have been completed, papers will no longer be accepted. Thank you for your interest in our congress.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES:

July 15 th , 2023 –        Abstract submission starts
October 02, 2023 –     Abstract submission closes
October 07,  2023 –     Information of the submitted abstract acceptance/rejection
October 18,  2023 –      Registration Deadline

ABSTRACTS

All abstracts should be submitted electronically via the abstractModule submission system. The abstracts not submitted via the abstract system but via e-mail and regular post shall not be accepted. The abstracts submitted online shall be published without any correction; therefore the authors should be careful about spelling mistakes.

Guidelines for Submission

  1. The abstracts shall be submitted only via the online abstract system.
  2. Names of the authors should not include their academic titles.
  3. The names should be written with only the first letter in capital and the rest in small letters and without abbreviation.
  4. Name and address of the institution, in which the author is employed, should be stated.
  5. Participants may submit only one abstract with 5 co-authors in any given scientific topic.
  6. Only the first letter of the abstract title should be in capital letters. (Abbreviations excluded.)
  7. In case abbreviation is used in the abstract, the abbreviation should be explained in parenthesis.
  8. The purpose of the paper and the methods applied should be explained in brief, the findings should be summarized together with sufficient statistical details and the conclusion should be stated within the framework of the findings presented.
  9. Abstract should be organized in a way to include the titles of objective, materials and methods, results and conclusions.
  10. The abstract length should not exceed 500 words excluding the abstract title, name and surname of the author.
  11. Participants may submit only one abstract with 5 co-authors in any given scientific topic.
  12. Participant may present only one abstract in oral or poster presentation.
  13. Participant can co-author multiple abstracts.
  14. Previously published abstracts (in print or any electronic form), or those presented at another congress are NOT allowed.
  15. Abstract receipt will be notified by confirmation e-mail.
  16. If the abstract is accepted you will get a confirmation e-mail within a maximum of seven working days.
  17. Presenter of a submitted abstract must register to the Congress within one week after they receive the acceptance letter and must pay the registration fee within next seven working days.
  18. All presenters must pay the registration fee; otherwise, the abstract will NOT be included into the program. The processing fee for each abstract covers the expense of the abstract submission, presentation and publication in the proceeding abstract book.
  19. By submitting an abstract to BaSS and in consideration for the opportunity to be included in BaSS presentations, the author of the abstract hereby provides to BaSS a non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use the abstract in BaSS’s publications and materials.
  20. In case of failure to comply with the requirements, the abstract would be excluded from consideration. The reasons for rejecting the submitted papers are: a) manuscripts or photocopies or facsimiles b) abstracts with more number of words than required, c) title in discordance with the content of the abstract d) work similar to another announced by the same authors e) not following the format, f) the presenter of the paper has not register himself in the Congress and g) submission of the paper after the dead line.

  • If you will use the online abstract module for the first time, select the “New User” link and register to the system.
  • The explanations at the page after the registration procedure will guide you. Please read the messages and explanations carefully.
  • The abstracts submitted via internet shall be published without any corrections; therefore the authors should be careful about spelling mistakes.
  • Please keep the confirmation mail sent to your e-mail address following the abstract submission.
  • You can track the evaluation process of your abstract over the system by using your e-mail and password.

Abstract Evaluation:

All abstracts and proceedings will be blind reviewed by the Scientific Committee. In order to have an accepted abstract being programmed by the scientific committee, congress registration for the presenting author is compulsory. An acceptance letter concerning the abstract evaluation result will be e-mailed to the author.
